hi guys I'm Ashley and today I am going to be cleaning the idle air control valve on my 97 Cherokee I have been having some idling rough idling issues and some stalling instances in my Jeep and I have no code stored in the computer so I'm going to try this first to see if that cures some if not all of my problems what the idle air control valve does is it tells the computer how much air to let into the engine at idling speeds so if it's not acting correctly you can have a high idle a really low idle stumblin idle and then of course stalling issues and the reason I'm trying this first is because my issues are only happening at idle basically okay so when you're looking at the hood of your deep you've got your air filter or an air breather I have this kind of crappy Canon knockoff filter that needs to be cleaned actually or you've got your stock air filter box you just follow the tube bac
