hi there izzy from digitalgoja.com I've checked in some of our forums and I think customers have a little bit of a misconception of what a rubber lens hood is supposed to be first of all the author of rubber lens hood is made of a very fine rubber so it's soft and pliable that's made so that this way you can extend and collapse the lens hood without any issues whatsoever and it protects against later on it actually fringing and ripping on the edges now sometimes the way we store these you might get a little bit of a crease on the side remember this is just a block extraneous light this doesn't have to be a perfect circle because remember even the ones that the manufacturers so especially the tulip design is not a perfect circle this is just to make sure that we don't have excess light leaking in and causing excess flare so and anyway if that does happen around the edges just do this num
