hey folks before this video gets underway i just wanted to quickly jump in i'm actually recording this quite a few days later because it dawned on me that some people watching this review or video as you'll hear my description later some people may not have seen the curious evolved usb cable review and that's where i talked about a lot of the theory around usb cables bear with me for just a minute while i talk about the theory that underpins what i'm about to talk about when transmitting digital audio via in this case a usb cable there are some people out there that believe the audio signal cannot be interrupted by anything along the signal path what i mean by that is that whatever's spat out of the pc usb socket in this case is perfectly translated to what the dac receives at the other end the theory being that there's error checking along the way and then it's all just ones and zeros
