Description
Cleaning and Scrubbing in Preparation of Coating: Dilute PRE-GAME 1:4 with clean water and apply solution to floor with a clean mop or other approved method. Abrade the floor using standard speed 175 rpm single brush floor machine equipped with 120 grit screen discs, (250 sq. ft.per side of disc and then replace). Work small areas and do not flood soak the floor. Pick up the scrubbing solution with a wet vacuum or auto scrubber. Tack the floor to remove scrubbing residue using fresh solution of PRE-GAME diluted 1:4 with clean water. Pre-Game may also be used in automatic scrubbers for preparing gym floors for coating. Ensure proper down-pressure and change screen discs and pads at recommended intervals. 3M SURFACE PREPARATION PADS (SPP) may be used in place of screen discs for preparing floors to be coated with Hillyard water-based wood finishes. Tacking: Dilute PRE-GAME 1:4 with clean water. Soak terry cloth towel in PRE-GAME. Wring out toweling so that it is saturated but not dripping. Place towel under broom or dust mop and begin tacking. After each pass, adjust towel in order to maintain a clean edge. Re-soak towel when it begins to dry out. Allow floor to dry at least 30 minutes before applying seal or finish. For best results, use non-linting towels and tack the floor a final time with a cleaning cloth. Maintenance Cleaning: PRE-GAME can also be used for light cleaning of wood floors. Dilute PREGAME 1:4 with clean water and tack, damp mop, COURT CLEAN, or autoscrub (using white pads) as needed to clean and maintain the floor surface. NOTICE: DO NOT use on raw wood. DO NOT use PRE-GAME to tack membrane curing compounds.
