i'm tom from do-it-yourself home automation and this is a look at the honeywell usb barcode scanner this is the eclipse model so this is a really great barcode scanner just like you'd find in a store or in a library that you can use to scan 1d barcodes directly into your computer so you can use this for inventory management software you could use it for scanning books or other products to list on a marketplace or you could use it in your store or in a library anywhere where you need a really good barcode scanner that plugs into usb honeywell is a great industrial products company so the quality of this is great i've probably done tens of thousands of scans with this particular one you can see it's still in great condition it's just one molded piece of plastic here you can see the little laser line that's going to send out that's going to be used for scanning i'll show a demo in a second
