Hosa GMP-113 1/4" Female To Mini 1/8" TS Male Mono Adaptor

hi I decided to look into a strange phenomenon I ordered these hose adapters from Sweetwater i order two of them one of them works just fine but this little rascal gave me a very intermittent signal so I was curious you know how hard can it be to manufacture you know it's just as eighth inch to quarter inch adapter so I decided to take a look at it so I'm going to test it using you know pretty standard voltmeter that it's set to give me a sound when I see continuity and I'm gonna use male eighth inch two RCA plug cable just to try to figure out where the problem might lie so I'm going to set up the voltmeter to give me a continuity test on all three points I'm going to look at the you know the left right and common connections okay so I've added a couple of alligator clip jumpers that I can clamp on and check the continuity so using my test cable I'm going to first of all check the blac
