this is a guide on installing an LCD on the HP stream 11 laptop to begin make sure the laptop is not powered on and disconnect the AC power using an exacto knife remove two plastic screw covers from the bottom corners remove the two Phillips screws one in each bottom corner proceed on removing the bezel start at the top inner edge and go around the perimeter of the screen assembly and snapping the plastic tabs underneath take extra care at the bottom edge set the bezel aside the LCD is mounted with four Phillips screws one near each corner once the screws have been removed line the keyboard with a cloth or a paper towel gently lay the LCD facedown on the keyboard peel the clear tape securing the video connector and using both hands slide the video cable out gently peel the video cable securing tape away from the LCD set the old screen aside at this point the new screen can be installed
