HP G60 CQ50 CQ60 CMOS Battery

hi and welcome to our video on how to replace the CMOS battery in the compact for sehri ocq 60 laptop first thing we do is remove the battery and make sure we're unplugged and anti-static the CMOS battery is located under the same cover as the hard drive so you just need to remove these two screws and the the cover plays actually clipped in so you just pull it a light plug will take it off and there's the CMOS battery and will tell you it's a little stubborn and you may need a flat-headed screwdriver to kind of pry it up because it is double-sided tape to the unit but it comes out and then there's just a plug that plugs into the system board when you remove that and then you just replace it with a new one now some people would like to think that C Mo's password might be erased by removing a CMOS battery I didn't test that so I don't know if that's a fact now we just put the new battery
