Hi, I'm Erika. I'm going to walk you through the initial set up for your HP Rechargeable Active Pen. You can ink without pairing the pen, but in order to launch applications, and do other tasks, it must be paired. Before we begin, we need to make sure the pen is charged. So, your HP Active Pen comes with a rubber cover that you can peel back to charge. When you insert the power adapter into the USB-C plug, a white LED should show up if the pen is charging. Once the pen is fully charged the LED will shut off. You can always check the battery status using the HP Pen Settings app. Next, we will pair the pen with the PC. On your PC, touch the Windows icon and then Settings or the Gear icon. Touch Devices, then touch add Bluetooth or other device. Select Bluetooth.
