hello this is a tutorial on how to replace the screen in an hp dv6 7000 notebook this specific tutorial is upgrading the low resolution w xga screen to a wuxga screen that i got from laptopscreen.com which got here super fast in like two days it was awesome um all right so this is your laptop got it closed right now we opening that in a second of course you're gonna have to have a replacement screen uh you're gonna need a small phillips head screwdriver get most of the screws and then um some kind of prying tools or an exacto so you wanna just have all those at the ready okay so the first thing is make sure it's not plugged into the wall obviously you don't want any power running through the device when you do this and then you want to remove the battery by sliding that switch over pulling it out flip it open and there's two things we have to do in order to get to the screen one is we h
