Laser Jet MFP M436n and M436nda. Imaging unit installation. Open the front
door of the device. Open the right
door of the device. Unwrap and remove the tape
from the transfer roller. Remove orange shipping
locks on both ends of the unit. Remove any remaining
tape and protective sheet. Do not touch
the exposed drum-roller. Remove the orange plug from
the back of the imaging unit. With the right
and front doors open, carefully lift the imaging
unit into position so the bottom of the unit aligns
with the raised alignment rails inside
the printer cabinet. Position the unit
so it aligns with the rails inside the printer. Insert and push
the unit into the slot. Ensure that
it is fully seated. Connect the electrical
cable into the cable holder. Remove the screw
pouch taped to the cover. Install the screws
to secure
