Today I’m going to show you how to install a timing
encoder on your Epson. The printer uses a timing encoder
to determine its location. If you find the printer
that will skip some lines or print headers seems
cannot find where it is, it probably is the timing encoder. To get a new encoder you can go to bchtechnologies.com
and go to printer parts. The timing encoder normally
has some kind of oil on it, you can see here. What you get is
you got a paper towel, get some warm water and then you can
have a dab of your hand soap. Do not use any strong solvent. The soap is okay
and the alcohol is okay. It’ll be easier if I show you with
this printer without a cover. This is the old belt. You can see it has a number. This number should be
towards you and this way you can know which is the front,
which way is back and make sure when you install
it you install it upwards. It
