[Music] using a screwdriver press down on both tabs on the top of the keypad carefully pull the front cover down using your phillips head screwdriver remove the screw that holds the battery in the compartment remove the clip that the red and black battery wires are attached to from a circuit board this lost the battery insert the new battery and plug the clip into the motherboard reconnect the place back to the battery make sure both tabs are secured at the top of the keypad it is best practice to test your alarm system while it is still in test mode have allow the battery 24 hours to charge
