good morning YouTube I thought I'd just shoot a quick video for you to show you how to get the battery case open on this old realistic pro 35 scanner I've had this forever early 90s I think and I've had two battery packs and once I failed on me after time like all battery packs do and I wondered how to replace them or replace the batteries inside them and I didn't find a video on YouTube to do it so myself anyway here's what the battery case looks like before you start digging away at it and you'll notice it has two screws to give you hope but these are not very serviceable at all and you're going to have to do a bit of careful destruction to get it open and I'll show you what I mean by the one that I did get open so the trick is of course you take the screws out of the obvious spots but underneath the label here are two tabs that you're going to have to probably destroy and pull apart
