so I'm responding to a comment in one of my previous videos to do more videos about opera glasses so what you see here is the majority of my collection of antique opera glasses some of these you may recognize from from previous videos some of these you may have never seen before anyway I'm just gonna go through it and I'll show you what we have here these on dates from between about 1880 to about 1910 1920 they're made of a variety of materials um the majority of these are made of brass or are made of substance called nickel silver they're covered in a variety of things and I'll just go through that now so what we have here is the really cheap ones are typically covered in stuff like leather which is what we have at the back here this is green leather brown leather brown leather and then we have like this here talked about this bit more and later for something a little higher class you
