[Music] hi this is rob again and thank you for uh watching another episode of home tech stuff today we're going to be tackling a outdoor single gang outlet that is an in pretty sad condition primarily on the cover the the outlet itself is functional it's a little worn for wear but it still works pretty fine um but um it's one of the things that's been on my list to replace uh since we got this house because as you can see the um the outlet cover doesn't fit correctly and water snow ice that type of thing can definitely get in there so what we're going to be using today is a hubble taymark single gang weatherproof cover it's a heavy duty plastic polycarbonate it's a pretty cool design it's very heavy duty and it has this while on use option which means you can um plug a electrical um you know wire into it like an outdoor extension cable and close the cover and it'll still work uh most yo
