hi everyone this is andrew time welcome to my youtube channel today i'm going to be looking at this 12-inch macbook which i'm going to be replacing the battery for so this is the a1534 which is the 2015 model of the 12-inch macbook and i'm going to be replacing the battery of this particular laptop this is one of the earliest models of the 12-inch and one of the few that were produced because they were discontinued pretty soon afterwards and this had quite a low-powered cpu inside it and wasn't particularly popular even though it was one of the cheaper macbooks that you could buy not as cheap as the macbook air but um still portable and still only have that single usb c port but anyway i'm just going to show you how to open this up now and to get the battery out and to reinstall a new battery so i'm going to be installing this one which is the ky uer battery which is a third-party batte
