in today's tinkering I'm going to see whether I can put a ball on my tray that's a ram ball onto my laptop tray [Music] as someone who spent a long time in front of a computer in the last 25 years I want to be comfortable and one place where I can be comfortable is in the sofa this is an Ikea laptop tray called Berlin 10 pounds 10 euros but it had a significant flaw this plastic is very slippery so the first problem was that whenever you had lapped upon it and you grab the tray the laptop kind of wanted to go in a different direction in the tray the second one was that it was very flimsy I solved that by getting a piece of plywood and some nice leather that my friend he got a tin of contact adhesive and I slathered a tray plywood on top of that and then did the same thing with the leather it has worked really well I can take the tray stick it on my lap and it is now sturdy enough and th
