you hi I'm Kelly with blue water photo and today I wanted to take a look at the new eco light housing for the sony a7r 2 camera the sony a7r 2 before we jump into the housing there's actually three different camera models and this housing will work with all three of them the only difference in the physical construction of the three cameras is that on the a7 r2 and the a7s2 there is a button for locking the mode dial so the eco light housing actually ships with a compatibility kit if you don't have the a7 R or the a7 s you'll switch out a little rubber bumper on the mode dial and that will allow it to work fine with the a7 2 with no issues the cameras just for a quick little background the a7 2 is the standard model it has 24 megapixels it's got a lot of improvements from the original a7 model like better autofocus better low-light performance but our image stabilization overall the next
