you need to flip down the door and to make it a little easier to access everything take a flat blade screwdriver and just slightly pry up on the locking tab backside of the cover and the cover is removed very easily that gives you easy access to the whole printer assembly also on the inside cover is a label describing the ribbon path which is in red and then also the blue path which is for the label to load ribbon make sure that the printhead is unlatched and also open up the front cover which will make it easier to load both the ribbon and the labels the Intermec printer can take either coated side in or coated side out ribbons simply insert the ribbon onto the supply core take a few wraps off of the ribbon make sure it comes off the ribbon supply spool goes underneath the metal housing above the plastic label guide and also underneath the printhead you'll see the cutout here for the p
