IQ Siren (Z-Wave)

Hey, DYErs. I'm Jorge from Alarm Grid. Today we're going to be going over how to use the IQ Siren with a 2GIG system. I'm actually going to be demonstrating how to use this Siren with the GC3. So first, let's talk a little bit about this IQ Qolsys Siren. So it is a 105 decibel siren, which means that it sounds at about the same decibel rating as a helicopter or a jackhammer. It plugs directly into the wall. It also has a built-in backup battery. So if this siren is going off, you can't simply unplug it and expect it to stop working as the backup battery will continue to make the siren keep going off. It has a built-in strobe light, which is right here. I'll show you exactly how it works when we set off an alarm. And basically, the way this siren is intended to be used is if an alarm goes off on the system-- whether it's a burg or a fire-- then that means the IQ Siren will also go off. T
