i'm at the clarkson covered bridge now sometimes this is called the leg bridge this is in Cullman Alabama I'll move out way so you can see it this is a 270 foot bridge that was constructed in 1904 and destroyed by a fire in 1921 and rebuilt the following year it's the only remaining covered bridge in cullman county it was restored by the coleman county commissioner in 1975 as the American Revolution Bicentennial project now let's just take a look down this bridge and see what 270 feet looks like now this is a footbridge you know that means that you can't drive your car across it that means that this is a walking bridge so a lot of people come out here and they walk around and there some trails that go down and there's a creek that comes underneath here but as you can see it's quite a remarkable structure you can go to the other side a lot of people come and take photos and that's what I
