in removing the sash the first step would be to open sash up the second step would be to identify the four parts that attach to the sash the operator has a bent worm here that is locked with a post on the underneath side and that can just be taken apart with a flathead screwdriver push it down get it out of the way then you have a long arm that comes out here and it's attached to a black plastic guide that slides in a track same thing just stick a flathead screwdriver in there and pop that down and then at that point your arm is disengaged you still have the hinge attached to the window but what you then would like to do is get the operator out of the way so by taking it and trying to get it across the back plane you can get that operator out of the way of your hinge slide it over a little bit it will continue to go back in there and then once that's out of the way you have the ability
