hey everybody its Charles from humble mechanic comm and today I'm gonna teach you how to make your old wiring harness look fresh the wiring harness in my GTI is knocking on the door of 20 years old and believe it or not 20 years can make an engine harness look pretty sad and while rewrapping or rehabbing this harness is not vital to the performance of the vehicle it's a small detail that makes a world of difference and for some reasons there's something about this that I absolutely love doing the tools that we're gonna need for this job are going to be a pair of scissors a seam ripper a paint pen some emery board I'm also going to be using wd-40 specialists series electrical contact cleaner as you guys know wd-40 has been a great partner in this GTI build so thank you guys for sending me this products and sponsoring this video and of course we couldn't rehab our engine or any other harn
