so you just ordered service from centurylink you got your modem in the mail let's open the box and see what we have first you'll find an instruction sheet an accessory box with your cords and power adapter the modem and a wi-fi information label [Music] let's look at those instructions first it would like you to download the app to your favorite android or ios device make sure you're using the correct one from the app store it should look like this if you're not going to use the app please go to connect.centraling.com and follow the instructions to hook up your service install the app okay let's get started with the easy setup first we want you to plug in the power cord plug in the ac adapter to the wall next plug in the green line cord to a phone jack on the wall plug the cords into the modem [Music] if you're not going to use wi-fi use the yellow cord to hook up to your laptop or desk
