Hey, I'm Alex with GME Supply and today we're
going to do a quick tutorial on how take the TK-3400U4P as well as all these other radios
listed here, all in the TK Series from Kenwood, out of scan and super lock mode. These radios are very versatile and they actually
used to leave the factory in a different mode than they do now. Kenwood has actually set them so you don't
have this problem any more, but if you have older radios, or if you've changed any of
the settings on them you could run into a situation where when you turn the radio on,
if you hit the wrong set of keys in a certain order, you might actually lock your radio
into one mode. So when I'm changing the channel like this,
this isn't actually changing the channel that the radio is set on. So you might end up locking your self out
of being able to communicate with your crew. So new radios out of the box from us won't
have this
