Hey guys, in this video we’re doing a review
and unboxing of the Furman M-8X2 power conditioner. This is a very popular low budget power conditioner
for both studio and live use that can be used to clean up the electricity entering your
equipment, and also acts as a surge protector. When we get the Furman M-8X2, it’s packaged
in a simple box and includes a manual. The one thing I do want to mention is that
there are no rack screws included with the power conditioner so you do need to buy a
bag of them separately to actually mount it in a rack, but that’s pretty normal for
equipment like this. Let’s start off with the specifications
of this unit. Obviously we can see that it’s rackmountable
and you can mount it in any standard music equipment rack. The Furman M-8X2 provides 15 amps of power,
or 1800W, with a built in circuit breaker when it is exceeded that can be reset with
a button on
