It works pretty much for any Mazda keys that look like that or like this. It only doesn’t work for Mazda Smart Keys… those are the ones that you have to press the button to start the ignition. It’s very easy to do, so let’s try it. So, you have to obtain all of the keys, remove the key from the ignition, close all the doors, then open the driver’s door, and then you have to turn the key in the ignition on and off 3 times: 1, 2, 3. You never “start” the car. You close and open the door 3 times: 1, 2, 3. *Click *Click: Locks “cycle”: lock and unlock. Then press Unlock button on each remote twice. *Click *Click (Locks cycle again). Ok, we just programmed the new remote. Let’s try and see if we can reactivate the old one that doesn’t work. Ok
