so the other day I realized I had an empty subwoofer box so I decided to add an aftermarket woofer to my sound system and I'll quickly do an overview show you how I did that and how I was able to tap into the factory unit without having to have an aftermarket deck so the first thing you do is you want to run your power cable so you'll see there's a fuse so if you get an amp wiring kit it'll come with that and then if you come down through here you'll see that I tapped into the firewall cut a little hole in it with a razor blade and then once I fed the wire through I take some [Music] Permatex high temp silicone RTV silicone real flexible can handle high temperatures and close that firewall back up and that way the install looks very flush uniform hide the wires and so that's the first thing once you're in the vehicle you'll see I'm just coming up right there through the firewall and the
