today we're going to be introducing the latest addition to Kingston's ever-expanding HyperX line of this is the new entry-level Ram that replaces their old blue line which is a favorite here at the tech tips headquarters both wheels and Jack use blue in their systems so how does this stuff compare to the old stuff these sticks were announced back at CES 2014 and then shown off in more detail at PAX East which was a couple of weeks ago this is called the fury Ram and it comes in a ton of different varieties depending on your needs but I think the first thing here is to figure out why exactly they're called fury so let's go ahead and open them up whoa okay hold on a second crap okay well I think what we're gonna do is we're gonna leave them in the package for the rest of the video so there are single sticks available in four or eight gig densities and there are dual channel kits available
