It utilizes state of the art drivers including midrange and tweeter titanium compression drivers for a smooth and powerful response. The Forte III's midrange horn employs patented technology to improve coverage and control of the key mid-frequency band.
Passive Radiator Yields Full Range Performance - In the back of the cabinet the Forte III has a secret. It's well-extended bass is found in the use of a rear-mounted passive radiator. A mammoth 15" (38 cm) in size, this sub-bass radiator operates on acoustic pressure generated by the woofer for greater bass output and extension.
Book-Matched Wood Veneer - Klipsch only uses book-matched wood veneers for the Heritage series. The veneer leaves are kept in order as they are delicately sliced from the timber and precisely arranged to provide a mirror image at the splice joint - like turning the pages of a book.

[Music] these are the new clips for teh three and they come as part of the company's heritage speaker line in many ways you can think of them as modern classics as though your favorite muscle car got a 21st century upgrade they take the same elegant looks but update key sonic elements creating a speaker that offers the perfect blend of warm vintage tone and razor sharp soundstage so before we get into how these guys sound let's talk about how they look our set of Forte 3s came in a beautiful distressed oak finish which is book-matched and it's made by hand in the United States it also comes with a gorgeous lamb's wool grill cover and has a Forte logo right at the top when you first remove the grill covers you'll notice some classic Clips design elements there are two horn loaded drivers one tweeter and one mid range as well as one big 12 inch woofer at the bottom on the back of the spea
