all right welcome to another video so common problem with uh these late model crown victorias is a radio reception issue all right so what the problem is is turn this on here all right what happens is when you're listening to the radio when you go to turn on the defroster [Music] goes from being good sound to static okay so the reason why is the grid lines on the defroster in the rear are causing interference with the radio and that's because the antenna is located on the back glass as well as the defroster lines ford actually has a tsb out about this specific problem because it was such a problem on many of these cars uh long story short i'll save you the trouble looking at it basically says to check these contacts right here so you do pull this off check and make sure that it's tight and that these are not corroded and they give you some ways to test the resistance between that contac
