hi I'm Jim Titus and I'm with CJ s electric today we're going to show you how to replace a lens for a light fixture the only materials you're going to need are a good sturdy ladder basically we're going to do is repair this broken lens on this fluorescent fixture and pretty easy situation there's a little lip that's on the top of the fixture here basically we want to do is lift that lens a little bit and somewhat just pull it down and it comes right off and you pull it right back this way and the lens comes off very easily this way and you go to your local hardware store or home apply Home Center and have it replaced we've purchased the new lens over here and basically what you want to do is make sure it's lined up with the fixture there's a little lip on the top here and there on both sides you want to start from one side here make sure it's up all put up on that lip up in there flips
