if you need a lock and unlock the doors on your Land Rover but the battery is dead or your key fob battery is dead open it up there's a hole underneath slide it in all the way comes right out take your key unlock it by turning it that way lock it by going towards the front if your battery is dead in the truck you need to lock all of the doors manually on the inside if the battery is good you can use the center locking switch to lock all the doors then come out and then lock this door if you want to secure the vehicle these covers get brittle over time and the innards kind of break off so if you've got yours and it's broken that's okay these are pretty cheap they're like 20 bucks I'll put a link in the description where you can buy a new one and it just snaps right back on
