all right so i'm going to show how to open up and disassemble this macbook pro uh it's a 15-inch model a1707 uh late 2016. um this is likely going to be a two-parter so i'm going to see probably show the screen first and then we'll do the other part because i have some errands to run but anyways first what you want to do is of course remove the screws from the bottom so this is a pentalobe i believe it's like a 1.2 so once you remove all those screws then you'll want to just like all the other macbooks um you'll have to lift this cover up from the bottom here not from the hinge side um if you have this gap on on these models sometimes it's a little easier because you can kind of reach under with your fingernails and then lift it up and then get underneath here but sometimes it's really hard to do that so you can use a suction cup and then you can use the suction cup just to lift it up s
