hello everyone - from Tim's computer fixed net here again today on my I have an Apple MacBook it's the a1 one eight one version and we have a cracked screen so in this video I'm going to show you the proper way or one of the best ways to replace the screen on this macbook a one one eight one now when you get one of these in or any laptop for that matter with a broken cracked screen we need to verify first that indeed the laptop is functional obviously with the broken screen you really can't see much sometimes you can't even see anything but light so while we want to verify first that it does light up and if it does then we want to check on it with an external monitor to be sure that indeed it is just discreet and nothing else here's a special adapter that Apple uses for the connection to DVI so you can use an external monitor so we'll just plug that in here now you can get these adapter
