QNAP QGD-1600P-8G-US 16-Port 1GbE Switch with 2 RJ45 and SFP+ Combo Port with Intel Celeron Processor and 8GB RAM

i've really been trying to wrap my head around this new product from qnap this is the qgd 1600p and this is a i mean at first glance before i even open the box this is a really innovative product from qnap i have not seen another product similar to this one on the market so it's a little bit interesting to try to figure out where this would fit in in your network infrastructure so let's talk about this product this is the again the qgd 1600p this is the eight gig of ram version of this device and essentially the the top level view of what this thing is is a 16 port switch of which four of the ports are 802.3 bt 60 watts of power per port and then 12 of the ports are 802.38 four poe plus plus ports 12 poe plus ports so it's a nice poe switch right on top of that though this is a nas running qnap's operating system so it's a nas but you can have you know virtual machines docker containers
