what's up guys today we're going to look at be 2.5 Drive installation on the Lenovo p50 begin let's remove the rear service panel the p50 is interesting and that has two actual SSD slots so you have two ports right here you just need to buy an additional caddy from Lenovo which recently became available to use a second 2.5 drive so to remove the existing one first you have to pull up on the connector using the provided tab when you pull up on the black tab and slide out the whole caddy assembly now this caddy assembly is essentially made up of two parts we have one rubber ring surrounding the drive and then we have the connector component which is separate from the actual rubber component assembly so there are new screws holding this together but you should be pretty careful as it the entire assembly seems pretty flimsy so let's begin by removing the rubber protector 42.5 drive first it
