all right well since my videos at home didn't come out as well as i had hoped um trying to do this now on campus and hopefully you can see the screen of this garmin gps now and i'm on the screen that shows me the satellites that are in view of the receiver right now and so i've got several satellites that are in view they're the ones that are highlighted and are dark and at the bottom of the screen the bar graph is showing me the relative signal strength that i'm getting from those satellites so at least i've got six satellites uh that are kind of locked in and giving me signals it's showing me current location uh in latitude and longitude and what i want to do now is demonstrate how to mark a waypoint and we'll mark this lamp post just in front of us you can see we're on the edge of the parking lot outside of wilson hall so i'm going to go navigate back through the screens here we are
