when using with eggplant be sure your cable is b directional the original ultrafine had faulty loose connectors my original lg ultrafine had a loose thunderbolt 3 connector that eventually broke off and since there is only one thunderbolt 3 usbc connector on the first ultrafine model it became worthless lg whizzened up and included two thunderball three usbc connectors a larger screen size albeit a lower resolution on this new ultrafine revision model i'm not entirely satisfied since my original broken this newer revision has a lower resolution but this is the best monitor for the price and the stand is freaking amazing the color accuracy and picture quality is unmatched and it's the best monitor you can get aside from the 27 that isn't the 5 000 apple pro monitor it's still very frustrating to not have a webcam on a monitor in this price range it can charge your macbook and the monitor
