[Music] hi it's Steve today we'd like to show you how to change the water inlet valve on your refrigerator the style of water inlet valve also has a flow meter on it and if either they valve or the flow meter is defective you will need to change it that's a really easy job let me show you how we do it now to do this repair we will need access to the back of the refrigerator so a first step will be to first of all turn off the water supply to the refrigerator I'll pull it far enough forward we can unplug it and then we can do the repair now we have access to the back of the refrigerator we've removed the inlet supply to the valve next we're going to take off that rear cover on the right hand corner here so we'll nice remove the one mounting screw that secures it to the cabinet now our next step will be to disconnect the hook left tubing from the valve there's typically a little locking d
