okay today we're going to be looking at this HP Pavillion okay it's a dd5 - 1140 what actually happens you switch it on all the lights come on here next screen and we have the caps lock on the number lock flashing so we have one two and then again so we have two flashes okay so I've checked up on HP this flash code two flashes is a virus corruption okay so what are we going to try and do first is just try and do a reset so we remove the power the battery hold down the power button for one minute if that doesn't work we'll try taking out the RAM resetting the RAM try something from Ram I know it says BIOS but sometimes motherboard failures or memory failures can lead to this type of flash code if that doesn't work we're gonna strip it take out the battery the CMOS battery and that doesn't work we will try and run sort of some sort of bias recovery download the bias from the HP website re
