Milk Thistle (Silybum marianum) is a plant species that is native to Asia and is a member of the Asteraceae family (Asteraceae is same plant family that contains the daisy).

The primary active ingredient in Milk Thistle is a flavanoid referred to as Silymarin. The primary active constituent within Silymarin is Silibinin (Silybin).

The Silymarin content within Milk Thistle extract has been found to support liver health, promote skin health, facilitate a healthy circulatory system, reduce insulin resistance and may also serve as a natural fat burner.

Also included is a certificate of analysis of the individual Milk Thistle Extract batch and a 0.15cc measuring scoop. Two rounded scoops measure approximately one serving, or 250mg.
