hi everyone this is Jason from Lightspeed and in this video I'm going to show you how to create special orders for your customers to begin let's head over to the sales section and we'll start a new sale first thing you'll need to do is add a customer to the sale it's important to note that you cannot create a special order without a customer attached and once we have that customer let's add an item that they are looking to purchase as you can see here we are getting a notice that this particular item does not have enough stock and if I complete the sale the inventory will become negative that's fine to do if you know you've already received some copies of this item on a purchase order they just haven't been checked in yet you can safely go negative then check in the purchase order and everything will balance out but if you definitely don't have any in stock in the backroom then you're g
