[Music] today i am grooming a pit bull lab mix she's very comfortable with me and very comfortable getting groomed so she happily hops up onto my grooming table i place a groom loop around her neck and praise her good behavior and take her on a little ride as i raise my grooming table up she lets me know how happy she is by giving me lots of tail wags and kisses i start her groom off by clipping her very long sharp nails she's not a fan of getting her nails clipped but it's important that i don't let go when she jerks her paw because it rewards her bad behavior i remain calm and patient with her and continue clipping her nails and eventually she settles down and realizes that it's not so bad after i clip her nails i go over them with my dremel to round and smooth them she was a very good girl for this and didn't put up a fuss whatsoever next i move her to my tub and i place cotton balls
