hi in this project I'm going to show you how to make an inexpensive alternative to a ram mount for a Legrand fishfinder bracket and on here for this fishfinder this is the actual RAM bracket with a 1-inch attachment ball and I'm going to make a new base here using some cutting board from Walmart along with an aftermarket 1 inch diameter diamond shape ball joint and this is the cutting board I'm going to use it's got the black granite color and then this is going to be the aftermarket balls I end up attaching here and this is the finished product that being said let's go ahead an get started so the first thing you need to do is get your cutting board and your bracket that you want going to use and place it flat on the cutting board and then you're going to trace around the edge of your bracket onto the cutting board and then cut that out either with a saw or some kind of reciprocating sa
