Lowrance 83/200 Skimming Transducer SS Mounting Kit

[Music] hey guys welcome to this month's technical tip with Lawrence today I want to talk to you about transducer installation I get a lot of phone calls with guys asked me where to install the transducer and why we should install the transducer at that specific spot and what to look for when mounting the transducer so I just want to show you the transducer this is the standard pretty much a standard 83 200 HDI transducer and it's specifically made for a transit mount so what we need to look for if you take the thickness of this transducer and you split it in half that bottom half needs to stick out below the bottom of the boat so if you had to look at your transducer from the front of your boat and you look down the tunnel you should be able to see this half of the transducer sticking out so what we're trying to create is to skim through the water if it's too low into the water it will
