Chris Meyer with Lawrence Electronics gonna talk a little bit about the hds gen2 hds gen2 is the same as Gen 1/4 size wise screen size the way you're going to tell the difference physically looking at a gen 1 a Gentoo is Gen one is black Lawrence black hds gen2 it's white the plugs on the back are still the same it still runs the same structure scan the same radar all the same NEMA 2000 accessories and the same transducers the brackets are the same so if you have a bracket mounted for Gen 1 you can take a Gen 2 put it into your existing HDS bracket and it'll work just fine my favorite part about gen 2 aside from the speed that you can zoom in and out at is the ability to have structure map what structure map does is it takes the best of your left and right and overlays this image onto your map page to access structure map you can either hit menu go down to overlay and turn it on or if y
