hey Mark Romanek here for the rant electronics you know if you want to get the most out of your sonar units you're going to have to pay a close attention to where your mount your transducers a transducer on your boat if it's mounted correctly your units will operate flawlessly if you get those transducers in just the wrong position you'll have all kinds of performance issues let me talk a little bit more about that let's say for example you're running down the lake at high speed and on your sonar screen you're seeing a lot of clutter and a lot of interference chances are you have your transducer mounted too high the transducer needs to be just below the level of the Hulse would get smooth clean water running over at high speed so you're running down the lake and you look over your shoulder and you see this nasty rooster tail flying up behind you that's a pretty good indication that you'
