M1000/5V2 - JL Audio 5-Channel 1000W RMS Marine Amplifier

hi I'm Steve Teresa the director of training and technical support here at JL Audio I want to talk to you right now about the M 1005 V 2 system amplifier for a marine application there's some really neat things going on with this amplifier among them is the configuration it's basically a combination of two of our most successful marine amplifiers it's a 600 watt mono amplifier for the subwoofer and a four-channel 400 amplifier for the main channels so what we've done is we've taken those two amplifiers to combine their functionality into a single chassis that's about 60 millimeters or about two and half inches or so smaller than the two amplifier separately the input side of the amplifier has our V 2 specification what that basically means it's got a wide range of voltages that you can send into it so depending on what source unit you're using be it a radio that's on the boat or if you'
